Volume prices are not applied automatically. Send us a short request with your expected monthly volume and destinations; once agreed, we set the price on your account. Prices per SMS segment, excluding VAT.

How is an SMS counted?
Billing is per segment. One segment holds 160 characters in the GSM character set, which includes the German umlauts ä, ö, ü and ß. If the text contains a character outside that set, such as an emoji or curly quotes, a segment holds only 70 characters. Longer texts are split into segments of 153 or 67 characters.
The dashboard shows characters and segments as you type, and the API returns the count in smsCount. More in the guide SMS length and characters.
What the price includes
- Your company name as sender (up to 11 characters) for Germany, Austria and most of Europe, without registration or surcharge, active right after your first top-up. Only for the Czech Republic and Slovakia do the networks require a one-off registration for €20.58.
- REST API, webhooks, test keys, OpenAPI spec, PHP library, plugins for WooCommerce, Shopware and JTL-Shop, and the Make app.
- Delivery reports for every message, campaigns with CSV import, scheduled sending and a link shortener with click stats.
- Messages rejected by the network are credited back automatically.
- Data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR for every account, see the DPA.
- Support by e-mail in English and German.
Payment
Top up by card (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay) or SEPA Direct Debit, between €5 and €4,000 per payment. Card payments are credited immediately, SEPA debits once confirmed, usually within 2 to 5 working days. Every top-up comes with an invoice in euros, with your VAT ID if you provide one.
A delivered message to a number the operator routes outside the standard route (for example ported to a virtual operator) is charged at the actual operator price, at most €0.103 per segment. This affects a small fraction of numbers and shows in your transaction overview.
Pricing FAQ
Is there a monthly fee or minimum term?
No. No subscription, no minimum volume, no setup fee. You pay only for SMS sent from your prepaid credit.
Does my credit expire?
No. Credit stays on your account until you use it.
Does the API cost extra?
No. Sending via API, dashboard and plugins costs the same; test keys send nothing and cost nothing.
What does a long SMS cost?
Each segment is charged separately. A message with 200 GSM characters has two segments and costs €0.168 to Germany.
Can I get a lower price for large volumes?
Yes: from 10,000 SMS per month €0.079, from 50,000 €0.074 per SMS, after a short request. We then set the price on your account.
